Available Immediately | 60 minutes | Price: $197 $167 |

Consistently failing to secure NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding is most commonly caused by mistakenly completing your grant application in the same manner as a typical Research (R) grant.

At first glance, SBIR/STTR proposals seem similar to traditional NIH research applications, but don’t be fooled — they actually contain a number of key differences and expectations. This disparity can be your downfall, especially if you’ve been successfully funded for years by traditional award mechanisms (R21s, R01s, etc.) — but it doesn’t have to be.  You can get the practical, how-to guidance you need to improve your chances of securing SBIR/STTR funding by viewing this online training session by grant writing expert, Alix Norris, PhD.

Dr. Norris will walk you through the nuances of completing SBIR/STTR grant applications, and provide you with “best practices” and insider tips to help you make your application more successful. This session will cover key (often unspoken) SBIR/STTR application elements you can incorporate that will maximize your funding realization.
