Effectively communicating your scientific message is a learned skill, and without it even the strongest research project will be ignored.
As a scientist, you must be able to successfully communicate your research vision to others clearly, efficiently and in whatever form necessary (manuscripts, grant proposals, etc.). Your career success depends on it. Whether you’re trying to get your research funded or an article published in a scientific journal, strong language, focus, self-editing and storytelling are essential for you to achieve your goals.
This is where nationally recognized researcher, grant writer, scientist mentor and educator, Anthony L. Rosner, Ph.D., LL.D.[Hon.] can help. During his online training workshop Dr. Rosner will share his proven writing and communication strategies from his many years as a scientist, successful grant writer and research leader. He’ll walk you through how to utilize his scientific research communications “recipe” to help you get your point across more swiftly and assiduously.
By taking advantage of Dr. Rosner’s online training, you’ll receive his proven strategy to help you expand your persuasive ability via both verbal and written communications. As a result, you’ll be more positively perceived by end users (i.e. reviewers and grantors) and more apt to achieve your goal. Here are several of the strategies you’ll receiving during this online workshop:
- Make your openings succinct, compelling, and piquant within just 1-3 sentences
- Create an effective roadmap to successfully lead readers with a sense of purpose
- Keep your audience engaged, interested and productive
- Use clear transitional expressions to make sure your readers stay committed until the end
- Provide coherent, concrete argument examples that are easily relatable, avoiding jargon or arcane language
- Clearly demonstrate how you’ll overcome identified problems and gaps in knowledge with your research
- Increase your credibility with proven editing and proofreading tactics
- Boost audience recognition of your project with a clear, takeaway message
- Unearth easy-to-miss flaws in your research and fix them before they’re caught by reviewers
Who Should Attend? Prospective authors and researchers intending to produce manuscripts, grant proposals, courses, or other presentations. This includes principal investigators, practitioners, faculty members, interns, and students.
When describing your research, it’s easy to lose focus of your audience’s specific needs and fall into writing overlong or esoteric sentences. Do this, and you’ll endanger your ability to engage the reader. Without engagement, you’ve lost your audience along with any hope of getting published, your grant approved, and/or your research funded.
By attending this expert-led online training, you’ll gain access to Dr. Rosner’s years of written and oral communications experience. This includes helping numerous researchers get published in peer-reviewed journals, vetting, administering and mentoring over 100 clinical and basic research projects, and assisting numerous Principal Investigators in securing over $25M in federal grants. Dr. Rosner has also reviewed over 200 manuscripts in his career and knows what scientific journals are looking for.
Don’t wait, take advantage of this rare opportunity to gain access to Dr. Rosner’s proven scientific research communications recipe. Dr. Rosen knows what you need to be a more successful writer because he has been right where you are. Register today to secure your access to this must-watch online workshop.
